Our concept

Café Boudin is a coffeeshop offering speciality coffee in the centre of Brussels. In addition to its beautiful menu of coffees, teas and house drinks, Café Boudin is also a restaurant. We offer vegetarian and seasonal cuisine in the mornings and midday on weekdays and a brunch on the weekend.

At Café Boudin, we make it a point of honour to cook and prepare everything ourselves. It is even our motto "specialty coffee and homemade everything". We take particular care to offer cuisine and pastries that is composed with seasonal products from local producers.

We like change and surprises, which is why our entire menu is renewed every three months.

We always offer three "dish of the day" plates composed of different elements cooked by us, always vegetarian but above all super gourmet. Halloumi croquettes, grilled cheese with old Cheddar, dried tomato and feta meatballs, spring rolls or briouates?

We make a promise to you that our cuisine is fun and innovative.

We also offer great variety in our sandwiches - Vietnamese banhmi or Comté and mustard sandwich - in order to please everyone.

Our partners

We work with a few partners but always choose them with great care. Our supplier of specialty coffee, Wide Awake, roasts its specialty coffee in Brussels and delivers it to Café Boudin every week to guarantee maximum freshness.

The beans are selected harvest after harvest and processed to bring out their full range of flavours. For espresso, we serve the Duchesse blend (Brazil, Guatemala & Ethiopia) - with rich chocolate, hazelnut and red fruit aromas and a nice roundness and low acidity. At Café Boudin, you will also be able to discover the world of filter coffees through different methods (MocaMaster, Kalita). We are constantly renewing the beans offered so that we can initiate you to specialty coffee or satisfy the fine connoisseurs.

We work with Maison Barat for our breads. Their famous sourdough baguette is delivered to us every morning to ensure freshness and an inimitable crispness. Their reputation is well established, and they are always striving for excellence with an ethical and respectful approach to the entire bread production chain. Their flour is certified CRC® or "Culture Raisonnée Contrôlée", an alternative production method that aims to reconcile production and consumption by asking producers to meet two main objectives: to produce healthy, high-quality cereals and to respect the environment and the balance of ecosystems.

For cheese, we have also decided to put quality first by working with From Comptoir. These craftsmen, whose reputation is well established, select cheeses with passion and promote producers with local roots. They also carefully choose cheeses directly from Belgian producers that are matured in their own cellars.

You can also find a selection of our pastries at our friends' at Caleo Café in Ixelles.
